Drama at NASS Gate as Security Bars Suspended Senator Natasha
ABUJA — Tension ran high at the National Assembly complex on Tuesday after security operatives blocked suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan from entering the premises.
The Kogi Central lawmaker, flanked by prominent activist Aisha Yesufu, rights advocate Mama P, fellow activist Randy, and a crowd of passionate supporters, was stopped at the gate by stern-faced security personnel who refused her access.

Tempers flared as Aisha Yesufu challenged the officers, demanding an explanation:
“The National Assembly belongs to the people. Why are you stopping us? Refusing to comply doesn’t mean we’re cowards,” she declared.
The standoff intensified when some supporters chanted “Push!” and attempted to force their way through the barricade.
With chants and solidarity songs, the crowd eventually began marching toward the complex, rallying behind the embattled senator in defiance of the blockade.
