Regina Daniels, Ned Nwoko Trade Allegations as Marriage Crisis Deepens
The marriage between Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, billionaire politician Senator Ned Nwoko, has entered a turbulent phase, with both parties issuing conflicting claims that have dominated social media discussions.
Once celebrated as a high-profile union following their marriage in 2019, the relationship is now at the center of public scrutiny after a series of accusations surfaced online.
In a statement, Senator Nwoko alleged that he has provided financial support to Regina’s family, including a reported ₦125 million given to her mother within the last two years. He attributed the current breakdown in their marriage to what he described as Regina’s alleged drug and alcohol use, claiming the situation led to violent behavior and property damage. He further alleged that she assaulted three staff members within a two-day period and moved out to an environment that, according to him, enabled further substance access.
Nwoko said he offered rehabilitation options both within and outside Nigeria and denied any claims of domestic abuse, stating, “I have other wives, and none have ever accused me of violence. Regina is the violent one here.”
In response, Regina Daniels released a video strongly rejecting all allegations. She insisted she married Nwoko out of love and accused him of leveraging his influence to pressure her and her family. She claimed that some of her siblings were arrested to force her into rehabilitation and expressed concern that her youngest sister could also be targeted. Regina stated that her priority remains protecting her children and family, appealing to the public to refrain from verbal attacks against them.
The situation has ignited widespread debate online, with supporters on both sides defending their preferred narratives as videos, statements, and commentaries continue to circulate.
With neither party backing down, observers say the future of the marriage remains uncertain as the dispute continues to play out in the public eye.
